Laurels that have formerly garlanded James Brown, Robert Wyatt, David Gilmour and The Stooges this year descend upon one of few bands who can claim to have inspired a mass-murderer (albeit a fictional one). A multi-million selling phoenix from the ashes who prove that losing your singer (even if it is Peter Gabriel) can be the best thing that ever happened to you, they continue today, scoring one of last year's biggest-grossing tours.
